This is some more edirol 'composing' this time using an arpeggiater and just really letting midi do its thing. I don't really remember how or why i composed this or what i used it for (if anything) but it's quite dramatic, isn't it?!.
An mp3 recording of several musicians testing their instruments and playing musical passages, while the audience chats and converses. Starts with a solitary violin, and more and more instruments take the stage. Results in quite a discordant/tumultuous sound. Recorded with a black sony ic voice recorder, at the boettcher concert hall with the denver young artists orchestra. Use however you'd like. God bless!.
I build it in fl studio (32bits) with the soundfonts plugin (the soundfont used was "sgm")overdubs were done with a "strings" sample and the rest was just the pure instrument with eq and reverb. (it also includes a subtle piano and choir).
I noticed there were no dry ice on oven rack sounds here so here is a recording of dry ice interacting with a steel oven rack. As the dry ice melts it creates vibrations on the metal that evolve as the material travels across the surface. It is an awful sound resembling a combination of saxophone, violin, bagpipe and screaming (any species). This was recorded on halloween 2018. It was a tradition in my family when i was a kid to get some dry ice on halloween and fill beakers with colored water to surround the candy display. The addition of dry ice on oven rack sound effects developed later and truly scared a lot of kids because it is so loud and terrible. These days we make some dry ice kief as well which makes the holiday even more festive and weird.

This is a little recording on my tascam dr-44wl in kjfk airport new york, waiting to fly home with my wife. There was a bird flying around the in the building at our gate, which two young kids were loving. You can hear them say they see the poop, which i did see too lol. Recorded at 320kbps mp3.

This record is done near court yard at russia where children plays. Summertime. Cars are passing by, sometimes frogs are croaking in the pond near by, and once helicopter flies past pretty low. Recorded on a phone, mysteriously, as a message on my answering machine. I have no knowledge as to who recorded it, where it was recorded, or whether it came from a live performance or not. All of the segments of this set combine sequentially, to form the full phone message.
